Travelers need To Be Aware of Luggage Rip Offs At Airports

by BS Artist on June 18, 2008

You would think that with the extra security at American Airports since the September 11 horror that you luggage would be fairly secure. Unfortunate it seems that the security personal checking the luggage seem to be helping themselves, especially if the luggage contains jewelry. They reckon that $40 odd million of personal property has been stolen nationwide by these baggage checkers. Gee, you would think that they would have this under control by now.

While this report was on American airports, in particular passengers at Greater Rochester International Airport who were flying Jet Blue, I would suggest it is a common occurrence worldwide and we should all be more cautious with what we pack in the checked luggage.

I'd love a beer, & that's no bull!
