What A Load Of Bullshit

It seems that Prince Harry has been fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan for the last 10 weeks. He has been waiting for this chance for some time but it seems that his stay may be short lived because of the efforts of and Australian magazine and German newspaper.

Because of his high profile his placement was kept secret and while some journalists were allowed to interview him in Helmand it was only on the condition that details would only be publicised once he was safely back in Britain. That someone thought that journalist could keep their mouth shut at all surprises me no end.

So who was the Aussie magazine that spilt the beans and endangered the life of the “Bullet Magnet” and all those who are serving with him? None other than New Idea who is now copping a lot of flack themselves. Naturally those at New Idea deny knowingly breaking the embargo saying,

New Idea was not issued with a press embargo and was unaware of the existence of one.

That alone is a whole lot of bullshit because they would have known that such a leak would put him in danger but it appears that they just didn’t care. I reckon that a whole lot of Aussies will now place an embargo on New Idea, and so they should.
