The NZ airforce is currently patrolling the Ross Sea area and monitoring the Japs progress. Unfortunately the Ross Sea is not exactly NZ territory, only our search and rescue area. I world love to see a Kiwi frigate escorting the Japs out of there, but it won't happen. All we can do is to support Greenpeace protests.
